INGELRIC

[INGE331] Ingelric (born c.1006) was a noble Saxon. It has been suggested he was possibly an unrecorded son of King Aethelred II the unready & Aelflida. He held Buxhall and [Little] Finborough, Suffolk, before the Conquest.

[INGE342] Ingelrica Maud (born at London, St. Martin's le Grand, c.1032, daughter of Ingelric) was one of the most celebrated beauties of the age, and a concubine of [NORK339] DUKE WILLIAM OF NORMANDY (see NORMAN KINGS). She afterwards married 1. (at Hatfield [now Hatfield Peverel], Essex, 1072) [PEVX341] Ranulph (see PEVEREL).
