[WIMA421] Wimar aka Guihomar aka Wihormac (perhaps born at Gressenhall, Norfolk, 1051), married (1075) Gilla. He was a tenant of Count Alan IV in Aske (parish of Easby), Harmby (parish of Spennithorne) and Leyburn (parish of Wensley), and several other holdings in Richmondshire (Yorkshire). He was also a tenant of Count Alan IV in Fordham and elsewhere, e.g. (Cambridgeshire), and in Hickling and West Somerton (Norfolk). He was also sewer at Castle Acre (Norfolk) (at 1086) to William de Warenne (afterwards 1st Earl of Surrey, see SURREY (WARENNE) EARLDOM). He died before 1130.
